Primary Therapist: Master's prepared clinician (MSW or LPC) whoconducts weekly family and individual sessions. The therapist helpsp<strong>at</strong>ients and families cope with psychi<strong>at</strong>ric illness and its impact ontheir lives. The primary therapist also makes sure th<strong>at</strong> optimaldischarge planning and aftercare arrangements are made for eachp<strong>at</strong>ient. Also conducts group therapy sessions twice weekly on theresidential units.Clinical Intake Specialist: Works with p<strong>at</strong>ient, family, and insurancecarrier <strong>to</strong> provide the best services allowed under policy coverage. Aclinical intake specialist also coordin<strong>at</strong>es admissions and referrals.Meetings you are expected <strong>to</strong> <strong>at</strong>tend:• Admission• Initial tre<strong>at</strong>ment team meeting (within first ten days)• Family therapy once per week (in person, phone,or telemedicine)• <strong>Tre<strong>at</strong>ment</strong> review meetings every four weeks• Educ<strong>at</strong>ion planning meetingsYour particip<strong>at</strong>ion is important! If you live far away andtraveling is hard, we can sometimes hold these meetings by phone orthrough our teleconference network.
