Combisafe Hanging PlatformAssemblyScaffold planks and toe boardScaffold planks can be used instead of Steel Boardwalks.Scaffold planks must be 45 mm thick and have a minimum of strength class K24.1. Fit three scaffold planks across the width and anchor these using nails orscrews in the wood inserts of the Hanging Support Console.Figure 42. Assembly of scaffold planks2. The scaffold plank is joined by staggering them on the Consoles. Where possibleuse a wedge at overlaps to avoid the risk of stumbling. The minimumoverlap over the Console is 100 mm. The maximum free protrusion in theend is 200 mm. Where possible, secure the boards together to aviod a singleboard deflection.41
