This menu allows theoperator to specify the generator parameter for walk triggering.123489567Figure 3.1.2.4.1.9 – RTCA/DO-260 Generator Menu for Walk TriggeringMenu Control Function1 Generator combobox allows selection of generator.2 Power numeric box allows setting the output power of the generator.3 Phase numeric box allows setting the output phase of the generator.4 Path combobox allows setting the path of the generator to top or bottom.5 Delay numeric box allows setting the delay from the trigger source. If the generatorthat is being set is the trigger source, this parameter is disabled. The delay range isfrom -120000 to 120000 nanoseconds in 100 nanosecond steps.6 Message Type combobox allows selecting between Mode S or ATCRBS message. Ifthe generator that is being set is the trigger source, this parameter is disabled and setto Mode S.7 Message Definition section allows the operator to set the message. For Mode S theparameters that can be set are Mode S Address, Mode S Message Type, and whetherthe data is random excluding the first five bits and the PI field.
