Low temperature chillersWhen the need for a low temperature application arises, the Andrews Sykesrange of fast chill units have been developed to provide temperatures below-10ºC. The range comprises of 3 models which can be used in a similarconfiguration to the water cooled PAC units.Each of the models comprises of 2 parts - a room unit, which must beplaced within or ducted into the area that requires cooling, and an externalheat exchanger. The room unit which contains the compressor andevaporator is linked via 2 x 32mm diameter flexible hoses to the external heatexchanger. In their standard configuration these flexible lines are suppliedin lengths of 15 metres and can be extended up to a maximum of up to 30metres.Although larger in size than most PAC units the fast chill units are stillportable and can be put to work quickly and with the minimum amount ofinstallation.
