TAKING A MEASUREMENT1. Press the START/STOP button.All symbols appear on the display.The cuff starts to inflate automatically. As the cuff inflates, the monitorautomatically determines your ideal inflation level.This monitor detects the pulse during inflation. Do not move your armand remain still until the entire measurement process is completed.NOTE: To stop the inflation or measurement, press the START/STOPbutton. The monitor will stop inflating, start deflating and willturn off.2. Inflation stops automatically and the measurement is started.As the cuff deflates, decreasing numbers appear on the display.The Heartbeat Symbol ( ) flashes at every heartbeat.28
TAKING A MEASUREMENT3. When the measurement is complete, the arm cuffcompletely deflates. Your blood pressure and pulserate are displayed.4. Press the START/STOP button to turn themonitor off.NOTE: The monitor will automatically turnoff after two minutes.WARNINGContact your physician for specific information about your bloodpressure. Self-diagnosis and treatment using measured results maybe dangerous.
