That’s a recordfor most holes-in-one at the TPC at Southwind andthe most for any tournament in 2003. The ace waspart of a four-hole stretch that included threebirdies, two in front of the ace and one behind.David Peoples aced the par-3 eighth hole onFriday. Peoples used an 8-iron from 174 yards. JoelKribel added another on the par-3 11th hole withan 8-iron from 182 yards.With a second-place finish in 2003, Nick Pricehas eight top-10 finishes in Memphis and movedinto a tie for fourth with Gil Morgan for most top-10s at this tournament. The leader in this categoryis Gene Littler with 11. It was Price’s sixth top-fivefinish at this tournament. He’s tied for second inthis category with Tom Kite, one behind Littler.Price has two wins, two seconds, a fourth and a T5.The 15-under 127 over Nick Price’s last tworounds in 2003 was a tournament record.
