Prominent Definitions International PlayersSpecial Temporary Member: A non-member of the PGA TOUR who wins anamount of official money, when combined with money earned in official moneyWorld Golf Championship events, equal to or greater than the amount won bythe 150th finisher on the previous year’s Official PGA TOUR Money List($342,028 in 2003). He must join within 60 days after becoming eligible.Top 30 additional qualifiers for THE TOUR Championship: Any SpecialTemporary Member whose official prize money, when combined with moneyearned in official money World Golf Championship events, is equal to orgreater than 30th position on the 2004 Official PGA TOUR Money List throughthe Chrysler Championship (the final full-field event), provided such playerapplies for full PGA TOUR membership for the following year. He would beadded to the field.WGC money: Players who are members of the PGA TOUR at the beginning ofthe year and those who become Regular Members during the year (win anevent or earn an immediate promotion by winning three times on theNationwide Tour) will appear on the Official PGA TOUR Money List rankedaccording to money won in PGA TOUR co-sponsored or approved tournaments.This includes any official money World Golf Championship events (WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, WGC-NEC Invitational and WGC-American Express Championship). Prize money earned by a non-member orSpecial Temporary Member in an official money World Golf Championshipevent will be deemed not to be official money and will not be included on theOfficial PGA TOUR Money List or Official PGA TOUR Career Money List.Use Non-member Money List to determine:Eligibility for Invitationals (i.e., Bay Hill, Colonial, Memorial)Moving from Category 3 to Category 2 for groupings purposes(3 times a year)Use Non-member Money plus WGC Earnings List to determine:Special Temporary MembershipMembership for Next Year (Top 125 Non-member Category)THE TOUR ChampionshipQualifying Tournament Exemption into Final StageTee Time Categories:Category 1: • PGA TOUR members currently in a tournament winnerscategory. Non-members, who if they were members, wouldbe in a tournament winners category.• PGA TOUR Life Members (member for 15 years and won 20events).• Top 25 on Official PGA TOUR Career Money List through theend of the preceding year.Category 1A: • Tournament winners who no longer qualify for category 1and who played in 5 or more PGA TOUR events or 10 or morecombined PGA TOUR and Nationwide Tour events in the prioryear.• Former winners of THE PLAYERS Championship, MastersTournament, U.S. Open, British Open and PGA Championshipwho no longer qualify for category 1.Category 2:Category 3:• PGA TOUR members who play out of the Top 125 and Top125 Non-members categories.• Players with 50 or more career cuts and who played in 5 ormore PGA TOUR events or 10 or more combined PGA TOURand Nationwide Tour events in the prior year.• Players within the top 50 on the current Official World GolfRanking list.All others.Voting Member: A non-voting member can become a voting member byplaying in at least 15 PGA TOUR co-sponsored or approved tournaments in acalendar year. He must play in at least 15 PGA TOUR co-sponsored or approvedtournaments in each calendar year to retain voting membership.
