In <strong>2004</strong>, the <strong>PGA</strong> <strong>TOUR</strong> has 48 official events offering nearly $240million in prize money. The mission of the <strong>PGA</strong> <strong>TOUR</strong> is to expand domesticallyand internationally so as to substantially increase player financial benefitswhile maintaining its commitment to growth in charity and the integrity of thegame. The second- and third-place finishers earn $300,000 and $200,000,respectively. Contested during nine <strong>PGA</strong> <strong>TOUR</strong> events in January andFebruary, each tournament winner receives 100 points, with a gradual declineof points awarded down to 10 for a 10th-place finish.Fall Finish presented by PricewaterhouseCoopers:The <strong>PGA</strong> <strong>TOUR</strong> Fall Finish presented by PricewaterhouseCoopers is a pointsrace encompassing the final 11 official <strong>PGA</strong> <strong>TOUR</strong> events of the season. Theoverall champion of the Fall Finish earns $500,000. The second- and thirdplacefinishers earn $300,000 and $200,000, respectively.
