The one recorded in the years 1997–2009 for the populationof enterprises can be described as positive. In the period 1997–2001 the differencewas at the level of 10–12%, in the period 2002–2003 accounted for 6–7%, and in theyears 2003–2007 dropped to ca. 2%. After a slight increase in 2008 the difference betweenthe birth rate and death rate dropped to 0, which means almost null dynamics ofenterprise population.Sector of activityFrom the perspective of sector division the differences between sectors are significant.In the case of construction sector, for which the birth rates and death rates were the highest,the changes in difference between these rates are the biggest.
