The amount <strong>of</strong> time it takes to obtain water is presentedin Table WS.3 and the person who usually collectedthe water in Table WS.4. Note that these results referto one roundtrip from home to drinking water source.Information on the number <strong>of</strong> trips made in one day wasnot collected.Table WS.3 shows that for 97 percent <strong>of</strong> households,the drinking water source is on the premises. For onepercent <strong>of</strong> all households, it takes less than 30 minutesto get to the water source and bring water, and also onepercent <strong>of</strong> households spend 30 minutes or more for thispurpose.
