Table NU.7R presents the proportion <strong>of</strong> children aged6–23 months who received semi-solid or s<strong>of</strong>t foodsthe minimum number <strong>of</strong> times or more during theprevious day according to breastfeeding status (seethe note in Table NU.7R for a definition <strong>of</strong> minimumnumber <strong>of</strong> times for different age groups). Overall,about two thirds <strong>of</strong> the children aged 6–23 months(72 percent) were receiving solid, semi-solid and s<strong>of</strong>tfoods the minimum number <strong>of</strong> times.Among currently breastfeeding children aged6–23 months, more than half <strong>of</strong> them (59 percent)were receiving solid, semi-solid and s<strong>of</strong>t foodsthe minimum number <strong>of</strong> times. There is a highdifference between male and female children, asthere are 48 percent <strong>of</strong> boys who are currentlybreastfed and are receiving meals the minimumnumber <strong>of</strong> times in comparison with 70 percent<strong>of</strong> girls.
