Distribution among the other two regions isequal. This pattern is expected and follows demographicsestimates based on the vital statistics for 2010. Theproportion <strong>of</strong> young women is lower, with 12 percentin the 15–19 years age group. Around 63 percent <strong>of</strong>all women in this sample are currently married, while31 percent have never been married. Distribution bymotherhood status is similar: 64 percent <strong>of</strong> women havegiven birth, compared to 36 percent that have nevergiven birth. The majority <strong>of</strong> interviewed women havesecondary education (57 percent), while the proportion<strong>of</strong> women with no education is 0.5 percent, and withonly primary education is 13 percent. Those with highereducation constitute approximately 30 percent. As faras wealth index quintiles are concerned, fewer womenlive in households within the poorest quintile — about14 percent — while 20 to 24 percent <strong>of</strong> women live in thehouseholds within the remaining wealth quintiles.34MULTIPLE INDICATOR CLUSTER SURVEY 2010
