As shown in table SW.2M, 68 percent <strong>of</strong> young men aresatisfied with life. The differentials in terms <strong>of</strong> backgroundcharacteristics are generally similar to those observed inyoung women. Among men living in households withinthe richest quintile, 75 percent are satisfied with life, asopposed to 60 percent from the poorest quintile. Amongyoung men, the proportion that is satisfied with life ishigher in urban areas (73 percent) than in rural areas(62 percent). Differentials can also be observed by region.The lowest proportion <strong>of</strong> life satisfaction among bothwomen and men is found in Vojvodina.The proportion <strong>of</strong> young men who are very or somewhathappy is similar to that <strong>of</strong> young women (92 percent,compared to 93 percent for women).
