Furthermore, 68 percentof children that successfully completed the last grade ofprimary school were found at the time of the survey to beattending the first grade of secondary school.For the purposes of analysis, the net primary schoolcompletion rate is much more relevant indicatorfor Serbia. It is the ratio of the number of students ofprimary school graduation age entering the last gradeof primary school for the first time, to the total numberof children of primary school graduation age at thebeginning of the current (or most recent) school year.The net primary school completion age and transition tosecondary school are presented in Table ED.7RA.
