UPGRADES & EQUIPMENTUpgrades/EquipmentThere are many items that can be acquired to enhance your fleet and defend your property.Many of these come in different configurations of the same type. For instance there arevarious levels of each laser weapon type increasing in destructive power with the associatedcost and energy drain. Be aware that some technologies are only available from certain areasof space or indeed certain races and you may need to search hard to find the most covetedupgrades. Also remember that you can only dock with races where your standing with themallows it. The enemy of a race is not a good thing to be if you need equipment that only theycan supply.Advanced SatelliteThis satellite is the next generation of advanced communications, providing live information ofship traffic and commodity prices that are relayed to your ship computer. This model has amuch larger scanning range than the standard Satellite.
