Her husband is very muchenamoured by her beauty and virtue, anddoes not like to be separated from her fora moment. He has not left anygrove, in searching of Radha. He sketchesthe picture of Radha on the ground. Thepictures drawn out by him are the sourcesof solace for the anxious lover. It appearsthat he would die in the absence of Radha.A milkmaid reports, - "Oh Radha !you are very much liked by Krishna. He— while sitting, while standing, whilewalking and while tending the cattle, —sings about your qualities. By looking atthe yellow colours, he thinks about theyellow bodice and the gold ornaments onyour body. He searches for you in everybush of the forest and cries, Where arethou? My Radha. He draws your pictures,looks at them and thereby destroys thefeelings of separation", you are the life ofKrishna. Theelement of love, as a basic factor in humanlife makes it possible, if not easy, for oneto appreciate the divine love betweenKrishna and Radha. As the Sufis thought,the sentiment of love serves as a linkbetween man and God as much as betweena devotee and Krishna. It is only practicalcommon - sense that the need of theworship of Radha should be stressed as ameans of propitiating and worshippingKrishna.
