The Liturgyof Easter Sunday leads us to an empty tomb to personally meet the Resurrected Christ and there proclaimour faith by repeating the words of St. Paul to Thessalonians “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose” (1Tes4, 14)Dear parishioners, I wish you renewed faith in the Resurrection of our Lord. May it guide you in transformationof your life and help you reject fear and anxiety, darkness and despair, and assist you in becoming thepeople of resurrection faith, that stare firmly at the Victorious Christ. From this empty tomb flows a true hopeto us faithful, that one day we will be resurrected.Let our hearts be full of that Easter hope, as those who have hope live in a different way. That hope thatflows from the joy of meeting Resurrected Lord I wish you and your loved ones the most. I extend my Eastergreetings to all who are with us today, friends, families, guests and anyone who desired to spend this holy day inour community of faith. May our Holy Mother, through her intercession,plead for graces for the members of the Rosary Groups, who made such great sacrifices in order to provide thenew altar for St. Ferdinand Parish.As was already announced, due to Easter Sunday falling this year on the first Sunday of the month, oursecond collection for the Renovation Fund, will be collected on the weekend of April 10/11. This is, again, anotheropportunity to support this fund. Remember, donations collected for the Building and MaintenanceFund are for general maintenance. Donations for the Renovation Fund, on the other hand, will cover the costsof any repairs to the buildings and our parish grounds. The donations collected this month will cover the repairsto our cooling system in the church. The warmer season is approaching quickly and in order to use the airconditioningsystem in the church, we must to replace the leaking air ducts in the attic, so it will not further damagethe church ceiling.May our Lord bestow many blessing and you and your family for your generosity and sacrifice on behalfof our parish. Liturgia Wielkanocy prowadzi nas do pustego grobu, aby osobiście spotkać się zeZmartwychwstałym Jezusem Chrystusem i tam wyznać wiarę słowami św. Pawła do Tesaloniczan: Wierzymy, żeJezus istotnie umarł i zmartwychwstał (1 Tes 4, 14).Drodzy, życzę Wam żywej wiary w Zmartwychwstanie Pańskie. Niech ona doprowadzi do przemiany Waszegożycia i pomoże odrzucić lęk i strach, ciemność i rozpacz oraz pomoże stawać się Wam ludźmi prawdziwiewielkanocnymi, którzy wpatrują się mocno w Chrystusa Zwycięzcę. Z pustego grobu płynie dla nas, ludzi wierzących,nadzieja, że i my zmartwychwstaniemy. Miejmy w sercach jak najwięcej tej wielkanocnej nadziei, bo kto manadzieję, żyje inaczej. Wesołych Swiąt!Serdecznie dziękuję za ofiary, które złożyliście dotychczas na Fundusz odnowy (Renovation Found). Wmiesiącu marcu zebraliśmy 5,798 . Bóg zapłać za złożone ofiary na ten cel. Oprócz ofiar zbieranych w kościele zostałyprzekazane także ofiary indywidualne: Rodzina Knych $1,000. Chciałem w sposób szczególny podziękowaćteż Kołom Żywego Różańca z ich przewodniczącą Heleną Lesak za złożenie ofiary $4,000 na pokrycie kosztówzainstalowania ołtarza Matki Bożej Częstochowskiej. Niech Maryja ze swoim wstawienictwem wypraszam całemuzarządowi i wszystkim członkom potrzebne łaski za ten piękny dar dla Parafii św. Ferdynanda.Tak jak ogłaszaliśmy ze względu na przypadające w pierwszą niedzielę miesiąca Święta Wielkanocne,zbiórka na Renovation Found będzie w nadchodzacą niedzielę 11 kwietnia. Będziemy mieli kolejną okazję, aby wesprzećten fundusz. Tak jak was informowałem kilka miesięcy temu ofiary, które zbieramy w każdą niedzielę orazofiary, które składacie na Bulding and Maintenance Fund wystarczają jedynie na płacenie bieżących rachunków ibieżących prac konserwacyjnych.
