ZAPP Circular no. 31March 2013Besides, it is recommended to also specify the ATB no. in case of declaration type DUX,considering that the availability of this information can prevent further time-consumingcustoms demands and accelerates the loading process.The preliminary / premature ATB no. can already be transmitted.Transshipment declarations from the import platform (IMP) will automatically meet thisrequirement, provided that the summary declaration has been initiated via IMP or theimport carrier supplied the ATB no. within the manifest.Release of S-no. from now on after 24 hoursIn case of declaration type DUX the MRN of an exit summary declaration is used, to besent 24 hours before loading to ATLAS. Since this declaration is made outside ZAPP andthe declaration time is not known within the system, so far the time limit had to bemonitored manually. Afterwards the S-no. received the status RLS. Exceptions so far aregranted to declarations from IMP, with known creation time.Experience has shown that the summary export declaration and the ZAPP declaration withdeclaration type DUX are created simultaneously without meeting the 24 hours deadline.As of 02.04.2013 each S-number is automatically released 24 hours after creation (providedno customs measures have been ordered), in order to fulfil customs requirements and toaccomplish greater security to the declaration process in ZAPP.Omission of declaration type DOKAs explained in the mail from 05.02.2013 we would like to point out, that the declarationtype DOK does not apply anymore since the beginning of this year, because accompanyingdocuments are no longer provided since the complete implementation of EMCS.If corresponding documents are available in exceptional cases, please use declaration typeSBF.ZAPP declarations with declaration type DOK are not accepted anymore. ZAPP Circular no. 31March 2013Warehouse code SAMM replaces ADZBThe warehouse code ADZB is normally used for single consignments, packed outside thescope of the main customs office Hamburg Hafen. The term ADZB for a presentation„Außerhalb des Zollbezirks“ (ADZB) (outside the customs area) is misleading and does notdescribe the circumstances properly.Therefore the warehouse code ADZB shall be replaced by the new code SAMM as of02.04.2013.
