Hydra PackThe servo oil unit – Hydra Pack (fig 13),consists of an oil tank with all componentstop mounted, to facilitate installationat yard.Two electrically driven pumps draw oilfrom the oil tank through a suction filterand deliver high pressure oil to the proportionalvalve. One of the 2 pumps isin service during normal operation. Asudden change of manoeuvre will startup the second pump. A servo oil pressureadjusting valve ensures minimumservo oil pressure at any time herebyminimizing the electrical power consumption.Maximum system pressureis set on the safety valve.The return oil is led back to the tankthrough a cooler and a paper filter.
