: annexes :annexesannex Ifinal referencesThe Executive Board of Directors expresses itsgratitude towards all those who have contributedand followed the activity of EDP Group during2012.First of all, we would like to thank theshareholders for the support and confidenceprovided to the current Executive Board ofDirectors and to each of its members, whileexercising its activity.A special word of gratitude is also due to allmembers of the Company Bodies responsiblefor the auditing and supervision of the Group, aswell as for the support provided throughout theyear. In particular, to the General and SupervisoryBoard for the guidance provided during theactivity of the Executive Board of Directors.Once again, it was demonstrated that EDP’sactual governance model is fully consolidated bybeing an example in overseeing the managementactivity and a guarantor of the interests of all ofthe Group’s stakeholders.Additionally, as a result of the support grantedto the Group’s activities during last year, theBoard thanks the members of the governmentalbodies and the public authorities of countries inwhich EDP is present, for the continued supportprovided during the activities of the Group.Within the energy sector, it is also important torefer the constant and constructive dialoguebetween EDP and the energy sector regulators.Particularly with the Regulatory Body for EnergyServices (ERSE) and the Directorate-Generalfor Energy and Geology (DGEG) in Portugal, aswell as to other regulators in countries where theactivity of the EDP Group is most visible, suchas CNE in Spain, ANEEL in Brazil and FERC andNERC in the USA.The Executive Board of Directors also extends itsgratitude to all the other entities that interactedwith the group during 2012, namely, the financialmarkets regulators, the sectorial associationsand the social and environmental non governmentorganizations.At the end of a challenging year it is also oweda special thanks to EDP Group’s customers.We reaffirm our strong commited in the persueof excellence in provided services along witha continuous improve of our offer and the fullsatisfaction of our customers needs.The Board’s gratitude is also extended tosuppliers, as well as to the social media thatfollowed the company throughout 2012.Finally, a special thanks to all EDP employees.Their commitment, determination and knowledgewere crucial for the company’s acchied results.Executive Board of DirectorsAntónio Luís Guerra Nunes Mexia (Chairman)Nuno Maria Pestana de Almeida AlvesJoão Manuel Manso NetoAntónio Manuel Barreto Pita de AbreuAntónio Fernando Melo Martins da CostaJoão Marques da CruzMiguel Stilwell de Andrade270A World Full Of Energy
