A specially fabricated glass-filled Pyrojacketis used as a crucible seal.Fuel supply lines in flame cutting and gouging operations are affected by molten weldspatter. Pyrojacket can increase the life of oxy-acetylene and mig welding lines, avoidingproduction interruptions.Steam, hot water and hot oil lines can have a "branding" effect on operators.
