Chronic manganese toxicity through inhalation mayresult in "manganism", which is a disease of the central nervous system involving psychic and neurologicaldisorders.Lead: Lead absorption in the body is cumulative. The concentration of lead in the blood is an important aspectof assessing exposure and potential adverse health effects. Excessive concentration may cause neuromusculardysfunction accompanied by signs of weakness. Chronic lead poisoning has been associated with kidneydisorders.2.2.6.
