Signalization lights for rail trafficCompany SABEL, located in Wroclaw, Poland, is specialized inbuilding rail traffic signalization lights. In the middle of 2011they got a project – a renovation of over 5 km railway nearthe Prochowice railway station.New traffic sign lights were a big part of the project. Some35 pieces of 255 mm steel tubes were driven as a foundationfor traffic sign light poles. Work was carried out with MovaxSP-30 installed on a very versatile backhoe, Huddig 1260B.Original SP-30 was factory modified for Huddig 1260B requirements. Its impact force was reduced a bit – to 25 tons, dueto low hydraulic pressure of Huddig installation. This project was only a part of a bigger railway renovationwhich was carried out especially for Football 2012 Euro Cuporganized in June 2012 in Poland. Movax was delivered tocompany SABEL by the distributor for Poland,Mr. Michal Adamiecki from AM-TEC Engineering(biuro@am-tec.pl, www.am-tec.pl).

New Impact Hammer IH-25dDesigning of the new Movax impact hammer started in 2008.The design process had certain targets. First one was to create astrong tool to our customers to finalize those jobs where normalvibratory hammer meets its limits. Another important target wasto help those working in railways with smaller size tube driversto drive the tubes deep enough into the ground. And of coursethe principled thing was that the hammer can be connected tothe excavators with quick coupler as do all Movax equipments.IH-25d hammer uses the same control system as sheet pilersand tube drivers. Herewith Movax customers working with MovaxAuto B or Auto C can utilise their existing operating devices alsowith the impact hammer.First prototype of the hammer was ready for testing in 2009.After over a year of intensive testing and redeveloping of theprototype the second version was ready. This version was alsoused at some jobsites. Finally in late 2011 we started producing the final version forproduction. The final version went once more through comprehensivetesting procedure. Its performance was measured with PDAtests by Tampere University of Technology. The tests convincedthat IH-25d creates 25 kNm energy even with some reserve.Benefit of Movax Hammer is that the hitting energy does notdrop dramatically when hitting out of vertical angle. Therefore,it is more than safe to say that Movax Impact Hammer IH-25dis ready for real introduction. We will perform demos with thishammer in Intermat 2012 in Paris throughout the whole exhibitionweek.First deliveries of the Movax IH-25d start in April 2012 afterIntermat. The basic facts of Movax IH–25d can be found below.IH-25dWeight without adapter (kg) 3800Height (mm) 4500Ram weight (kg) 1300Impact energy (kNm) 0-25Blowrate 1/min 30-400

Therefore,we believe Movax has good possibilities to grow in Austria.Mawev-show is a relatively large exhibition with a strongfocus on demonstrations. Construction sector was widelypresented in beautiful spring weather. Next time at Mawevwe will also present actual machines and do demos withthem. Only this way can all features and advantages ofMovax-technology be seen. We think that Mawev is agood setting for this as well.Intermat 2012Intermat is approaching.
