From there select “Create a Team” under “Team Information.” Continue on and register for the event. After the team is created, team captain will give team name and password to members so that they can register. Team Members: Once your Team Captain has created your team name, click on the “Register Now” button on the race page of your choice. From there choose “Race Registration” and select “Join a Team” under “Team Information.” Select your team name from the drop-­‐down box on the form and proceed with registration.

FAQ’s How many people do you need to form a team? You can form a team with as many or as few members as you like – it always starts with one! There is no maximum number of participants on a team. What if I registered for the event before the team was created? Contact sarahd@biggestloserrunwalk.com to be added to the team. As the team captain, how do I see who has signed up for my team? 1. Go to https://myevents.active.com. 2. Log in with the ACTIVE email address and password that you used during registration 3. Locate the event/registration in question and click on Manage my team 4. On the left side of the screen click on Contacts to see all team members 5. Select the Team Members tab to see which category each member registered for Does the whole team have to participate in the same race category? No. Groups can participate in any race category (any distance, running or walking), however all participants within a group must be in the same event (same city, location and date). In order for my team to receive these perks, is there a deadline we must reach our recruitment numbers by? Yes. The deadline to receive the team tent and banner is two weeks prior to your race date. The deadline to obtain a hotel package, jacket or hoodie is three weeks prior to your race date. Please contact sarahd@biggestloserrunwalk.com to receive your perks. Can I make changes to my team roster? No, team members cannot transfer or trade bibs with one another, or give their bib to someone that is not registered. If you are having trouble signing up, viewing your team roster or a member needs to be transferred, please contact sarahd@biggestloserrunwalk.com. What is a team captain shirt/hoodie? The Biggest Loser Run Walk captain shirt is a cotton t-­‐shirt with “Team Captain” printed on the back. If you reach 50 + member’s you will receive The Biggest Loser RunWalk official hoodie with “Team Captain” on the back. Once you reach more than 75 members you will receive The Biggest Loser RunWalk jacket with “Team Captain” on the back. What is the discount for creating a team? The team captain and each member will receive $5 off their race registration.
