Authority forsuch enforcement rests with the director of public safety.Vehicles are immobilized for unpaid tickets.Students who park a vehicle on university property inan area requiring a permit must register with the Departmentof Public Safety. A valid university parking permit mustbe hung down from the inside rear-view mirror andclearly be visible from the front and rear of the vehiclewhen the vehicle is parked in a lot requiring a permit.The enforcement of parking permit regulations foremployee lots, commuter lots and metered parking shallbe from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Mondaythrough Friday, unless otherwise designated. The Career Services Center workswith students individually and through programs andclassroom presentations to assist them in developinglife-long career planning and job search skills. The center oversees severaldatabases and serves as a clearinghouse for opportunitiesrelated to volunteerism, service-learning, part-time jobs,and internships. Staff members administer the Off-CampusCommunity Service Federal Work-Study program andcoordinate the Experience Expo event.The Career Services Center offers a number of resourcesfor students as they prepare to enter the workforce.Students can develop job search skills by participating inthe center’s professional development seminars, resumeclinic, and mock interview program, and meeting with astaff member to organize job application materials.
