4. Verify the pump motor is grounded to vehicle frame.5. Check for leaking hoses and fi ttings. Tighten or replaceas required.6. Check for structural damage and poor lubrication.Replace worn parts.7. Withplatform on the ground, remove plug from handpump port (FIG. 55-1). Install 0-3000 PSI pressuregauge in the hand pump port (FIG. 55-1).Remove cover for access to relief valve. Hold thecontrol switch in the UP position. Adjust the reliefvalve until the gauge reads 2750 PSI (FIG. 55-1).
