Executive Committee, public speakers, areacoordinators, facilitators, mentors, historian, school liaison, trainer.Years in Operation: 3Partners Involved: Police services (RCMP and municipal); School District; Peninsula<strong>Community</strong> ServicesTraining:Indicators <strong>of</strong> Success:Challenges/ Obstacles:Resources Available:A lead trainer, certified to train Family Group Conferencefacilitators by REAL<strong>Justice</strong> and an experienced probation <strong>of</strong>ficer,both with VORP training, conduct 2-day basic training forvolunteers. Monthly Facilitator Clinics. Mini workshops at monthlyvolunteer meeting.Conference agreement completion; School District administrationis progressive in introducing restorative measures in schooldiscipline.Funding for <strong>of</strong>fice support, training subsidies, conferenceexpenses, auto expenses, etc; consensus on training models,training providers, and cost.Supportive media; availability <strong>of</strong> human services experts.
