A work accident is re-enacted, but the re-enacting becomes a new accident: the worker playing thevictim gets his hand cut off as well. It’s the 8th of May 1986 - the anniversary day for the Romanian CommunistParty. A day celebrated with pomp, hypocrisy and fear by all the Romanian factories of those times. Besides thispolitical connotation, the day is only two weeks away from the Chernobyl explosion. But most important forRomanians, this is the day when the football team Steaua Bucharest has won the Champions League - for thefirst and last time in the Romanian football history!Adalbert’s Dream participated in the Crossroads Co-production Forum in 2009.Director’s filmography:How do you do, 1”, Filminute, 2009Contact Person:Gabriel Achim, producer / directorGreen Film:T. +40 317123 305M. +40 729550304gabriel@greenfilm.rowww.greenfilm.roBric-Brac, 2009, shortBerlin Film FestivalTrieste Intl Film FestivalFresh Film Karlovy Vary Film FestivalSaga, 2007, shortSaint Petersburg Film FestivalBratislava Intl Film FestivalLodz Intl Film Festival68
