He returned to Cyprus wherehe took part as an actor and director in a considerable number oftheatre performances both at the Cyprus National Theatre as wellas other independent theatre groups. He also worked as a televisiondirector at the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation, directing entertainmentprograms and drama productions.In 1999 he set up the independent film company Avra Productions,aiming to the creation, development and production of promisingfilm and television projects that can reach the Greek, Cypriot andEuropean audiences of today. The company has produced 3 awardwinningshort films, already having a background in televisionseries direction and scriptwriting.
