The most recent event, a three-day trainingon the theory and use of <strong>EASE</strong> acoustic simulation and measurement softwaretook place from July 15 th to 17 th in Dubai. It was organized by the regional office of<strong>Bosch</strong> <strong>Communications</strong> <strong>Systems</strong> in conjunction with Ahnert Feistel Media Group(AFMG). Located in Berlin, Germany, AFMG is a worldwide leader in software forthe pro-audio industry and amongst others has created the industry standards<strong>EASE</strong> and <strong>EASE</strong>RA software for acoustic simulation and measurement.Attended by 13 participants ranging from Egypt over Lebanon to Oman, thetraining was the <strong>first</strong> of its kind in the region for Electro-Voice and DYNACORDpartners. The three-day courses, hosted by AFMG’s trainer Paul Malpas, tookplace at the Robert <strong>Bosch</strong> Middle East’s training facilities in Dubai. The detailedworkshops covered <strong>EASE</strong>, the worldwide standard for acoustic simulation bothinside rooms and in open areas.“The demand for training in the Middle East is generally very high”, says TonySawyer, MEA Technical Support Manager. “The <strong>EASE</strong> training was part of ourlocal system design training academies – and we clearly hit the spot.
