Last yearstudents and staff from Waterloo Primaryattended a training event in Liverpool whichgave the group campaigning skills, ideas andinspiration to ensure their school remains bullyfree and a safe place to be.At the Barclays event, five anti–bullyingteams from across the United Kingdom willshare their fantastic anti–bullying practicewith an audience of special guests.Sarah Maciver, deputy head teacher of theschool, said of this achievement: “OurAnti–bullying Ambassadors have helped bringa real feel good factor to our school and thelocal community. Through assemblies, SmileDays and random acts of kindness, their neverending enthusiasm ensures our children feelsafe and happy at Waterloo Primary School.“We are so pleased to have learnt many ofthese ideas through the programme and lookforward to the event in July”.The students will also receive the DianaAnti–Bullying <strong>Champion</strong> Award at the event inJuly.
