JRI The RHAMM Expression in the Rat Endometriumronan-induced endothelial tube formation in Matrigel, mediating distinct angiogenic signalingpathway (26). In addition, several other studieshave demonstrated an association between HAand tumor vascularization. In some invasive tumors, revascularization occurrs adjacent to aregion of desmoplasia rich in HA. HA concentrationsincreased dramatically in the ECM of humanbreast tissue during carcinoma infiltration (27).In conclusion, RHAMM may have an importantrole in uterus both estrous cycle, and invasion andimplantation period via promotes cell proliferation, differentiation and angiogenesis.ConclusionConsidering the role of RHAMM in cell proliferation, differentiation and angiogenesis, it seemsthat spatiotemporal expression of RHAMM in theuterus during estrous cycle and peri-implantationperiod is a means through which uterus becomesreceptive for developing an embryo.AcknowledgementThe study was supported by Celal Bayar UniversityScientific Research Projects Commission(FEF: 2008/111).Conflict of InterestAuthors declare no conflict of interest.References1.
