The revised segments <strong>in</strong> the Revised Pay Scales, 2005correspond<strong>in</strong>g to the exist<strong>in</strong>g scale of Pay of 1999 are shown <strong>in</strong>the annexure -I to the order.i. Revised Pay Scale of Rs.4595-10285 to the category of Driver(LV) <strong>in</strong> common categories.ii. To redesignate “Attender” as “Office Subord<strong>in</strong>ate”.iii. Issue of detailed <strong>in</strong>structions on provid<strong>in</strong>g budget towardssanction of Uniforms to Attenders.iv. Revision of ceil<strong>in</strong>g on HRA from Rs.3,000/- p.m. to Rs.4,000/-p.m. from the date of issue of orders.v. The Government accord<strong>in</strong>gly hereby order that the Revised Scalesof Pay shall be as set out <strong>in</strong> Schedule-I to the <strong>No</strong>tification <strong>ap</strong>pended to thisorder aga<strong>in</strong>st each of the correspond<strong>in</strong>g exist<strong>in</strong>g pay scales specified <strong>in</strong>Schedule -I and also that the Revised Pay Scale for the category of Driver (LV)<strong>in</strong> Common Categories will be Rs.4595-10285. These scales shall becommon to all the employees <strong>in</strong> various categories except where specifiedotherwise <strong>in</strong> the Departmental Pay Schedule (Schedule-II) <strong>ap</strong>pended to the<strong>No</strong>tification. Holders of posts not <strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>in</strong> Schedule-II will be <strong>gov</strong>erned bythe Revised Pay Scales correspond<strong>in</strong>g to the present scales as shown <strong>in</strong> theSchedule -I. The requests for any further revision of pay scales for thecategories already <strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>in</strong> the Schedule-II shall not be enterta<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> anycase.6. (i) The Revised Pay Scales, 2005 set out <strong>in</strong> the Schedule I shall bedeemed to have come <strong>in</strong>to force on and from 1-7-2003. The monetarybenefit shall be allowed from 1.4.2005.2


(ii) On account of re-fixation, the salary <strong>in</strong> the Revised Pay Scales, 2005will be paid <strong>in</strong> cash from the month of June, 2006.(iii) The arrears if any on account of re -fixation <strong>in</strong> the Revised Pay Scales,2005 from 1-4-2005 to 31-05-2006 shall be credited to the GeneralProvident Fund Account of the employees. Those who have notopened the General Provident Fund Accounts, they must openGeneral Provident Fund Account as it is compulsory for everyemployee. In respect of those employees who do not have G.P.F.Account and who were recruited after 1-9-2004 and are <strong>gov</strong>erned byContributory Pension Scheme, the arrears shall be credited to"I. Small Sav<strong>in</strong>gs, Provident Funds etc., (b) Provident Funds, 8009 -State Provident Funds, 01 - Civil, M.H.101 General Provident Funds,S.H.(03) 'Compulsory Sav<strong>in</strong>gs Scheme' under Public Account".7. As a result of implement<strong>in</strong>g the Revised pay Scales, 2005 witheffect from 1-7-2003, due to change <strong>in</strong> the modified Master Scalerecommended by One Man Committee, the employees <strong>in</strong> whose case therewill be a change <strong>in</strong> the stage of the pay due to revised Master scale arepermitted to exercise revised option as per Rule 5 of A.P. Revised Scales ofPay Rules, 2005. The revised option shall be exercised with<strong>in</strong> a period of sixmonths from the date of publication of the notification <strong>in</strong> the AndhraPradesh Gazettee. The Revised option once exercised is f<strong>in</strong>al. If any employeedoes not exercise his option <strong>in</strong> writ<strong>in</strong>g with<strong>in</strong> the specified period, he shall bedeemed to have elected to be <strong>gov</strong>erned by the Revised Pay Scales, 2005 witheffect from 1.7.2003. The Revised option shall be <strong>in</strong> the specimen form given<strong>in</strong> the Annexure <strong>ap</strong>pended to the <strong>No</strong>tification of this order. The optionsexercised <strong>in</strong> respect of others are f<strong>in</strong>al and fixation already done shall notbe re-opened.8. All Draw<strong>in</strong>g Officers shall take immediate action for re-fix<strong>in</strong>g thepay of all Gazetted and <strong>No</strong>n-Gazetted Officers whose pay and allowances aredrawn by Heads of Offices <strong>in</strong> their substantive as well as officiat<strong>in</strong>g posts asper the options exercised for fixation <strong>in</strong> the revised master scale. In the caseof Heads of Departments, the pay shall be fixed by the Pay and AccountsOfficer, Hyderabad under <strong>in</strong>timation to the adm<strong>in</strong>istrative department of theSecretariat concerned.9. Government also hereby order that all the employees fall<strong>in</strong>g underGrade I to Grade-XXXII are entitled for 5 stagnation <strong>in</strong>crements beyond thetime scale <strong>in</strong> the Revised Pay Scales, 2005. These stagnation <strong>in</strong>crementsshall be treated as <strong>in</strong>crements for all purposes such as fixation of pay onpromotion/ Automatic Advancement Scheme, pension etc.,10. The above orders are issued <strong>in</strong> so far as the recommendationsrelat<strong>in</strong>g to the scales of pay, pay fixation and other related matters areconcerned. Orders cover<strong>in</strong>g the other recommendations of the One ManCommittee regard<strong>in</strong>g House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowanceand other Allowances, Special Pays and related matters will be issuedseparately.3


11. The other conditions laid down <strong>in</strong> Andhra Pradesh Revised Scalesof Pay Rules, 2005 issued <strong>in</strong> G.O.(P).<strong>No</strong>.213, <strong>F<strong>in</strong>ance</strong> (<strong>PC</strong>-I) Department,Dated 27-8-2005 shall hold good.12.
