The high resolutionenables the acquisition of dozens of 1-D and 2-D codes(Data Matrix, PDF 417, MaxiCode, QR Code etc.).Additionally, CMOS provides very robust omnidirectionalreading capabilities. Codes can be read in a wide range oforientations or tilts and even if significantly distorted. Withthe built-in error correction algorithms provided in certain2-D symbologies, the unit even reads codes that have asubstantial portion of the symbol missing or obscured.Automatic adjustmentThe MAC333 is user-friendly. Complicated parameteradjustments are not necessary. This imager automaticallydistinguishes between all major 2-D matrix and linearbarcode symbologies and decodes them. Instructions andsetup may be downloaded via the interface or programmedvia scan codes.Rugged, compact, easy installationThe MAC333 is rugged and versatile enough for themost demanding production applications. The small sizeand wide adjustment range makes it ideal for nearly allmounting situations. A red laser-aiming pattern makes theinstallation easy and can be subsequently turned off oncethe installation is completed. A 15-pin D-Sub connector isused to route power and communication, as well as triggerinput and outputs, to the unit. Plug it in, switch it on, andthe MAC 333 is immediately ready to use!The MAC333 incorporates the same internal optics andprogramming features as the MAH200 in a ruggedaluminum industrial enclosure. This product is an idealsolution for industrial situations where barcodes arestationary and sequential product reads are made. It reads2-D codes up to 4 readings per second and 1-D codes upto 6 readings per second. It is also a great solution forapplications where all of the interface features of ahandheld are not needed due to the fixed installation ofthe imager.Same as the MAH200 and MAH300, the MAC333incorporates a unique dual path optical system, a 1.3million-pixel CMOS sensor, and a 400 MHz processor.
