The financial year 2006-07 has ended on a positive note, financially and operationally. Strongdemand from steel industry worldwide has been an important factor for the encouragingresults. However, optimum use of key resources like chrome ore and electricity has been ourobjective, to keep costs under control. We need to achieve longterm viability, as market pricesand demand do and will fluctuate. Ittrips both primary and secondary breaker of this transformerwhen leakage of current exceeds 300 MA and provides safetyfrom any electrical shock. It is an additional safety for earthleakage protection provided in each feeder of undergroundsupply through earth leakage relay.A 1600 KVA, 11 KV/ 433 V Transformer got modified fromOEM at 2.65 lakh and recommissioned at NCM to overcomethe problem of low voltage and to reduce the running hoursof Diesel Generator set. The modification has helped ingetting appropriate voltage output from 6 KV to 11 KVprimary voltage. Per unit cost is Rs. 6/- more in DG Set incomparison to NESCO supply. This has resulted in saving ofRs. 5,78,000/- per month. "Is your learning so superior tomine? I too can match any feat you two can perform," hedeclared loudly and rushed to the water's edge to walk acrossit. He promptly fell into the deep water.Undeterred, the yogi climbed out of the water and tried again,only to sink into the water. Yet again he climbed out and yetagain he tried, each time sinking into the water.
