Limiting economic factorsThere is strong evidence that discriminationbased on race, religion, ethnicity and nationalityis a bigger issue in eastern Europe than inthe west. However, when asking about thebarriers preventing access to sport, economicfactors were highlighted much moreoften in discussions with our experts in theeast, as compared to those in the west.
