167was. Almost 2 hours were required to walk down from the over-lookto the valley below - a very steep and tiring descent. We cameout on the highway about 7 km from Huichihuayan (north). A successionof bus rides lasting until the wee hours of the next morning,the 30th, got us to Monterrey. Here we got a hotel room andsacked out until 10 a.m. and then went to find a bus to a minecalled San Pedro, San Pablo, or something like that. By the timewe did locate the right bus station it was too late in the day togo to the mine, so we caught a bus to Laredo.Thus we make it back to the Estados Unidos. On the trip webriefly checked the area between Aquism6n-Tamapatz-and the Inter­American Highway 7 km north of Huichihuayan.
