Elongation of the cave is semiparallelto the hillside. No eVidence can befound to prove that a gravity-directed, freesurfacestream ever used the cave (Bretz, 1959).The solutional features indicate a phreatic originof the cave. Bretz suggests that the cave mayhave been a part of Cacahuamilpa at some time inthe past. The cave is well decorated and hasroughly 800 feet of passage.
