ADMISSION TO THE DEGREEIn general, students must fulfil <strong>the</strong> requirements mentioned in 1.4 <strong>of</strong>General Information. In particular, to be admitted to <strong>the</strong> M.Soc.Sc.Hons.(S.W.) degree, students must have a four year degree in Social Work, anHonours degree in Social Work, an Advanced Diploma in Social Work,or an equivalent qualification.2. CURRICULUM2.1 The degree by dissertationStudents with an Honours degree or a four-year Bachelor's degree may,with <strong>the</strong> approval <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Head <strong>of</strong> Department and subject to conditionsthat he may set, acquire <strong>the</strong> Master's degree by submitting adissertation (Module code MDB700) carrying 240 credits.2.2 The structured M.Soc.Sc. (Social Work) degreeThe curriculum is made up <strong>of</strong> (1) compulsory modules taken by allstudents, and (2) specialization modules particular to students' chosenarea <strong>of</strong> study.
