ADMISSION TO THE DEGREEIn general, students must fulfil the requirements mentioned in 1.4 ofGeneral Information. In particular, to be admitted to the M.Soc.Sc.Hons.(S.W.) degree, students must have a four year degree in Social Work, anHonours degree in Social Work, an Advanced Diploma in Social Work,or an equivalent qualification.2. CURRICULUM2.1 The degree by dissertationStudents with an Honours degree or a four-year Bachelor's degree may,with the approval of the Head of Department and subject to conditionsthat he may set, acquire the Master's degree by submitting adissertation (Module code MDB700) carrying 240 credits.2.2 The structured M.Soc.Sc. (Social Work) degreeThe curriculum is made up of (1) compulsory modules taken by allstudents, and (2) specialization modules particular to students' chosenarea of study.
