ADMISSION TO THE DEGREEStudents are admitted to <strong>the</strong> degree if <strong>the</strong>y fulfil <strong>the</strong> requirementsmentioned in 1.4 <strong>of</strong> General Information, but with <strong>the</strong> concession thatstudents who do not have Human Movement Science as a major coursefrom <strong>the</strong>ir B.A. degree but an equivalent qualification may be admitted.2. CURRICULAThe Honours degree allows students to specialize in any one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>following courses:(1) Biokinetics, (2) Kinderkinetics, (3) Recreation and Tourism, and(4) Sport Science.All four courses have:(1) two compulsory modules common to all four courses(2) specialist modules particular to each <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> four directions2.1 Compulsory modules (32 credits)All Human Movement Science students must take <strong>the</strong> following twomodules:CODE MODULE CREDITSMBW601 Research Project (according to <strong>the</strong> chosen16specialization)MBW602 Principal Studies and Research Methodology 1699<strong>Postgraduate</strong> Calendar 2004 – Faculty <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Humanities
