BAR OVERDENTURE SCREW-RETAINEDClinical 10 - Bar and prosthesis try-inSanitize bar and denture (per standard clinical procedure).Remove the Healing Abutments from the Implants with the .050”(1.25mm) Hex Driver.Seat the bar onto the Implants with the Abutment Screwsusing the .050” (1.25mm) Hex Driver. Hand-tighten.Insert the prosthesis into the patient’s mouth and engage theretention attachments on the bar. Evaluate fit, form and function.Adjust as necessary. Return wax denture and bar to the lab forfinal processing. Replace the Healing Abutments onto the Implantswith the .050” (1.25mm) Hex Driver.Clinical 11 - Deliver bar and dentureRemove the Healing Abutments or Cover Caps from the implants/abutments with the .050” (1.25mm) Hex Driver. Make sure theprosthetic platforms are free of bone and soft tissue. Irrigate theinternal thread connections and dry.Place the bar onto the Implants and secure with the Screws.Torque the Screws to 30 Ncm with the .050” (1.25mm) Hex Driverand a calibrated torque wrench.Insert the finished denture in the patient’s mouth, engaging theattachments.
