BAR OVERDENTURE SCREW-RETAINEDLab 5 - Correcting the master castOnce a passive fit has been corrected in the mouth, the working modelmust be corrected.Remove the misaligned Implant Analogs from the working model, one ata time. When the framework rests passively on the remaining ImplantAnalogs; reattach the removed Implant Analogs to the framework. Seatthe framework on the model, securing the bar framework to the ImplantAnalogs that remained in the model. The reattached Analogs will besuspended within the hole created when they were removed from themodel. Soak the model in water. Carefully vibrate stone into the voidsaround the retentive undercuts of the Implant Analogs. Allow the stoneto set.Lab 6 - Laser weld correctionRemove the resin from the sectioned framework and clean each segmentof the bar. Return the framework to the corrected master cast and laserweldcorrections.Lab 7 - Fabricating a baseplate / occlusal rimPlace the retention clip of choice on the bar in the designated area.Block out the undercuts with wax. Adapt a sheet of light-cured baseplatematerial over the verification bar capturing the clip within the baseplatematerial. Contour the material around the bar and edentulous areas tocreate a stabilized baseplate. Create a wax occlusion rim on the stabilizedbaseplate.
