Awnings areonly to be extended on the particularfacade where the sun is shining. A timermust allow the awnings on the differentfacades to run at different times. To saveheating costs, however, the awningsshould only be extended if the sun haswarmed up the room interior to a certaintemperature. As the awnings have to besafeguarded against rain and storm damage,all awnings are to be retracted automaticallyas soon as these weather conditionsoccur. To facilitate central operation,the awnings located on the same facadeshould also be controllable using ashared pushbutton. The drives for each ofthe 3 facades and roof of the conservatoryshould also receive a pushbutton as agroup control for each unit. As the entireconservatory consists of one homogenousglass/metal construction, it is very difficultto accommodate control devices. For thisreason, the number of control devicesshould be kept to a minimumImplementation:As a 4-channel central control, the Quatronicdialog fulfils all known control requirements.Different limit values can be set for eachchannel. All necessary limit values havebeen entered in the factory for all sunprotection awnings, but can be altered bythe user. Operation is made particularlysimple by way of straightforward menuprompting and help texts that are availableif required. Each channel of the Quatronicdialog can evaluate the data of all connectedsensors separately. The radio clock receiverthereby ensures that the time is always exactand renders any change from summer towinter time superfluous. The central control isprovided as standard with a combined wind/sun/radio clock sensor. The sensor forprecipitation with power supply unit andinside temperature sensor make it moreconvenient for the central control to use furtherweather data according to the aboverequirements.Depending on version, the Compact motorcontrol unit allows 2, 4 or 6 motors to bedriven simultaneously. Local operation permotor control unit occurs either as a group orindividually. Thus, for example, a size 6Compact motor control unit allows up to 6motors to be controlled individually or inseveral groups (e.g. 2 x 3 motors or 1 x 4 and1 x 2 motors, etc.).
