She says: “Jo wascelebrating her 40th birthday and the DJ’sand choreographers for the weekend wereCraig Bennett, Karl-Harry Winson, RobertLindsay and Lizzie Clarke. The Saturdaynight party theme was 1970’s disco so we alldressed up and partied until the early hours! Itwas a fabulous weekend, great fun and superfood and hotel. Jo organised everything eventhough it was her party and the guys hadsuch a job keeping her away from the musicand the mike but they played a great mix ofold and new dances and gave us all a reallygood time! Can’t wait to go again next year!”Daffodil DancersEast Coast Liners and 50+ Fitness classes raised£1060 in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s GreatDaffodil Appeal at their recent ‘Daffodil Dance.’ TheLine Dance Party took place recently at CarltonColville Community Centre, Lowestoft, Suffolk.Dancers were sponsored to learn and perform a newspecially choreographed dance routine ‘Mexicoma’for the event where dancers and non-dancersjoined together for a fun packed evening wearingan abundance of yellow and daffodils with pride.Michael Page, one of East Coast Liners dancersdressed as a clown, again covered in daffodils forhis sponsors. Dance and fitness instructor NormaRead, said: “We are so pleased with the successof the event, it’s really good to know that while weall had such a good time how much the moneyraised will help Marie Curie Nurses provide morefree care to terminally ill people in their own homes. This is our7th year and we have now reached a total of just over £10,000, so ahuge thank you to every-one who joined in and helped us achieve thisfantastic amount, from finding sponsors, to providing raffle prizes andof course buying tickets making it a hugely successful event”“In March 2013 we held our annual Daffodil Dance inaid of Marie Curie, Diane from Dy’N’Mo Dancers inHeacham, Norfolk, told us. “We raised a total of £200and had a great evening.
