Weoffer the LNG fuel system as a standalone product, as well as a partof a complete propulsion system. Wärtsilä can deliver LNG systemsfor propulsion and power generation for any applicable types of shipor engine.Standard solutionThe standard Wärtsilä LNGPac uses an IMO type C LNG storagetank. Bunkering takes place from the bunkering station to the LNGtank via an insulated pipe. The tank connection space contains allnecessary process equipment and can be either mounted to directlyto the LNG tank or placed remotely from the LNG tank.The main process equipment inside the tank connection spaceensures correct gas temperature for the engines and maintainssufficient pressure inside the LNG tank. Wärtsilä is able to offersolutions for both vacuum insulated storage tanks and single shellstorage tanks.Customised solutionThe LNGPac gas supply system can be customised to the needs ofeach project on a case to case basis by Wärtsilä Fuel Gas Handling’sexpert team. We are able to conduct dedicated engineering at thebeginning of the project to match the specific operational requirements,safety regulations, and the rules of each classification society.114
