Allenhas done an excellent job on your behalf and will mentor me through the process of taking his place.Needless to say it takes several people to handle this part of the operation for the club. If you have aninterest in participating with this part of the club’s operation please give me a call. I would like to havesomeone help me at the trailer before and after club meetings to help members pick out that special pieceof wood. This is a great time to meet and talk with other club members. I would also like to have a numberof people willing to cut and or load wood that becomes available in the county. Those with chain sawsand pickup trucks or trailers are encouraged to sign up. Sometimes there is advanced notice of wood to becut or picked up. Other times we will be like the “storm chasers” in that we will be given little notice ofa fallen tree, etc. Please call me if you have an interest in helping out. We want to keep a good selectionof wood for club members. Iwould like to develop a list ofa dozen or so knowing mostof the time we might onlyneed 3-6 persons for a particulareffort.
