This research report presents the findings from an eighteen month study, MinorityVoices, carried out by YoungMinds, into the access to, and acceptability of, servicesfor the mental health of young people from Black and minority ethnic groups inEngland and Wales. The report describes the rationale for the study in terms ofnational policy and findings from previous research in the field and themethodology, which focused on obtaining the views of young people themselvesabout their experiences of using mental health services and their suggestions forhow these could be improved.
