<strong>2012</strong> <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong> <strong>Pageant</strong><strong>Diamond</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>/<strong>Prince</strong>Parents,Thank you so much for your interest in the <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong> pageantand for allowing your child to participate in the <strong>Diamond</strong> <strong>State</strong><strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>/<strong>Prince</strong> Program. We are excited about the <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong>pageant and all the activities we have planned. We will need yourhelp and support during pageant week. Below is a schedule forthe week. (Please understand that things can change, we are notonly working on the princess schedule, we are also working withthe pageant schedule, photographers schedule, <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong>’schedule, etc.).We wanted to make you aware that on Sunday, July 8 th , <strong>2012</strong> atthe Bling It On party, the princesses/prince will be making postersto place around Summit Arena to show support of their misscontestant. We will be supplying the basic supplies (markers,glue, etc); however, if you want to “bling” your poster up more youmay do that. Please talk to your child and think ahead about whatyou want they may want their poster to look like and bring thoseextra supplies with you. The posters need to be completed at theparty. We will be hanging the posters in Summit Arena beforeWednesday evening.We also wanted to make you aware that the princesses/prince willbe dancing each preliminary night in a trendy outfit (depending onwhich evening their miss has evening wear). They will be dancingto “Spotlight” by Shaeleigh and dancing on Saturday with <strong>Miss</strong><strong>Arkansas</strong> Kristen Glover to “All the Single Ladies” if your childdoesn’t know the music or words, now would be a good time todown load it off of I tunes. You can find Spotlight by Shaeleigh onYou-tube. It would help the choreographer if the girls at leastknow the words to the song. It makes it much easier to teach adance.


Below is a list of groups to help you know which night yourprincess/prince will be on stage. Please be prompt.<strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>es/<strong>Prince</strong> will be presented their crowns by <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong>’<strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>, Riley Stephens; Mistress of Ceremony will be <strong>Miss</strong><strong>Arkansas</strong> Kristen Glover.We will have a brief meeting, answer questions, and pass outtickets, etc.2:00 p.m. Arrival of the <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong> ContestantsGrand Lobby of Horner Hall<strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>es/<strong>Prince</strong> will be seated next to the stairs in order of title.<strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong> contestant will proceed down the Grand Lobbystairs and will then be greeted by her <strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>/<strong>Prince</strong> at the centertable. <strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>es/<strong>Prince</strong> will present their mentor with a flower,pose for pictures, and proceed down the center aisle. <strong>Miss</strong> and<strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>/<strong>Prince</strong> will go up the back stairs and line up for grouppictures. ***Parents and guests: please remain seated until all the<strong>Miss</strong> contestants and <strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>es/<strong>Prince</strong> have been introduced andMr. Danny, the official <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong> photographer, has finishedtaking the group pictures. Group pictures will be taken on theGrand Lobby staircase. We will be presenting a check to the <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong><strong>Pageant</strong> Saturday night. We want this to be a great success,so please come and bring your family and friends!!9:30 a.m. ALL rehearse final night production number, (Wearprovided t-shirt). Bring all t-shirts to practice on thisday to have pictures made for the t-shirt sponsor.12:45 p.m. Report for Autograph Party at Hot Springs Mall***Wear provided t-shirt***<strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>es/<strong>Prince</strong> will have their own table for theAutograph party. Please be early for this.<strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>/<strong>Prince</strong> will line up with her queen and beintroduced, then proceed to her place at the<strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>/<strong>Prince</strong> table.***You may choose to have photograph pads made for theAutograph party. This is not required. You can contact Wheelerprinting in Hot Springs at 501-624-5333; they will have yourpicture on file and can make you an autograph pad. The cost is 50sheets for $14.00 plus tax (b&w).6:00 p.m. <strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong> group white gown picturesSummit Arena Staircase (where <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong>’ new caris parked)7:15 p.m. ALL PRINCESSES: Please be completely dressed in yourbest trendy wear, ready to go on stage, and in your seat!Tonight, the top 10 will be announced so everyone must bestage ready!The princesses/prince will be performing their productionbefore intermission. As soon as the <strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>es/<strong>Prince</strong>finishes their production in their trendy outfit, the “top 10”<strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>es/<strong>Prince</strong> will then change into their gowns/tuxedo.


*** After all of the Evening Gown competition is over,<strong><strong>Prince</strong>ss</strong>es/<strong>Prince</strong> will return to their seats to enjoy the finalnight awards and crowning of <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong> 2011.***If your <strong>Miss</strong> is announced as <strong>Miss</strong> <strong>Arkansas</strong> 2011, pleaseproceed to the stairs at the point of the stage.
