-5-the breaking up or dismantling of any goods or any articles for trade, sale or gain orancillary to any business;the extraction or processing of sand, gravel, soil, rocks, stone or similar substancesfrom land;repairing and servicing of articles including vehicles, machinery, buildings or otherstructures, laundering of articles, but not including on-site work on buildings orother structures;any operations connected with the installation of equipment and services and theextermination of pests, but not including on-site work on buildings or otherstructures on land, or;the dismantling of motor vehicles, whether the dismantling is carried out by oneoperation or by a series of operations for any purpose other than that of a servicestation.When carried out on any premises upon which any of the above operations are carried onthe ancillary use of such premises for :-(a)@)(c)the storage of goods used in connection with or resulting from any of the aboveoperations;the provision of amenities for persons engaged in such operations;the sale of goods resulting from such operations;(d)Landscapingadministration or accounting in connection with such operations.Landscaping is the treatment of the areas surrounding a building for the purpose ofenhancing andor protecting the amenity of the site containing the building as well as theamenity of adjoining properties and the streetscape.Landscaping includes any combination of the following:-(a)@)(c)(d)planting of trees, hedges, shrubs and lawn;laying out of gardens;paving of pathways or courtyards;water features.Main Street FrontageThe Main Street Frontage is the frontage to the widest road, or where both roads are thesame width, the road frontage of the least length.However, in the case where the site is irregular in shape, the frontage of the narrower legof the site shall be deemed not to be the main street frontage unless otherwise approved by<strong>Council</strong>.In the situation of a site with frontage to the Esplanade, the Esplanade shall be deemed tobe the main street frontage.Minimum Allotment AreaThe smallest site area upon which a tall building may be permitted.
