(Use a wrench to thread the valvebody back into the coupler, the valves are opened againstinternal pressure. If internal pressure makes manualdisconnect difficult, unscrewing the valve body from thecoupler will permit the valves to close, thereby relievinginternal pressure and allowing manual operation of the balllockingsleeve.)ApplicationsThe Parker 5000 Series is an economical coupling that is athreaded union and can be connected under pressure withtools.
